The ability to shapeshift into a large black wolf. He's generally able to control it, although the ease he has in transforming is directly connected to how full the moon is. When it's a new moon, he is completely unable to shift from one shape to another.

H I S T O R Y ;

Dominik has lived in Berlin his entire life. He's never left, or had any particular desire to leave. When he was younger he entertained ideas of great new adventures, but it was fleeting and inevitably beat out of him. His home life wasn't the best of situations, and his childhood is something he doesn't reflect back on. He ran away frequently, usually to a friend's house, and would spend a few days there before inevitably getting dragged back.

His mother died when he was still very young, and his father, being unaccustomed to traditions of mourning or affection in general quickly remarried, and started his place in being unimpressed with his eldest child. They were a well-off family, full of old money and old business alike (owning a series of popular and upscale restaurants throughout Germany), and Dominik by rights inherited all of that when his father died, and was supposed to be groomed as a presentable young man. He had his mother's independent streak, however, and was regularly reprimanded for it. He also inherited more than a little of his father's self involvement, and made friends in various places and used them for his own gains. He would throw parties and by the time he was in his later years of schooling he was quite the popular young man, through his own gains. When Dominik finished school his father assumed that he would finally stop being a petulant brat and face up to what he was supposed to be doing with his life, but Dominik's interests lay outside of his father's whims, and he left the old home, under the pretence of getting a fuller university experience by living outside of the home. In reality he was sick of his father and the semi abusive relationship between them, and felt the need to distance himself and wait out the old man's eventual death. He'd remarried three times now, and age was finally starting to get to him. Dominik had once harboured thoughts to do the deed himself, but he knew it was his own feral instincts getting the best of him.

Because an independent streak wasn't all Dominik's dearly departed mother had left behind. she also left him with a very unique ability, one which he'd been quite blessed to discover. It suddenly made sense to him where her surname "Wolff" had come from, and he decided that once his father died he would change his surname to suit his proper origins, because it suited him better.

In the meantime, he attended his classes with little interest, more intent on watching the people within, picking out who he would next take advantage of, and took up a hobby of photography, to cover up his more intent interest in people watching. He lived with a fellow student at the time, a man a year younger than him and very easily persuaded into doing things for Dominik's benefit. Now, Dominik can't even remember his name, but at the time he was, as far as the boy knew, everything that mattered to Dominik, and he worked hard to pay the rent and various other things Dominik didn't feel like pressing his father for money for.

Finally, when Dominik was 24, his patient waiting was rewarded and his father died of a heart attack and Dominik acquired all his assets, punted his stepmother and various half siblings from estate and took the home back under the name Wolff. He allowed his father's subordinates to continue running the family business as they had been, and made himself comfortable as a very wealthy bachelor, more freely relaxing into his wild side.

P E R S O N A L I T Y ;

Dominik is a difficult person to read. Depending on the situation and who he's involved with he can either come across as an incredibly arrogant self-involved individual with little interest in the affairs of human, or he can be a very affectionate individual. It all depends on what he wants at the time. When you come right down to it, he doesn't care much about you or your ideals or your humanity, as long as he's satisfied and happy, but he'll pretend like he cares while he's sneering at you from the inside.

He is easily annoyed however, and sometimes has trouble masking when he's agitated with a person, even if it's someone he's trying to get something out of at the time. People tend to come a dime a dozen, and unless he's particularly invested, which he usually isn't, he may end up getting aggravated and dismissive. It's hard to get back in his favor once he's been annoyed by someone, but there have been people who have tried.
